Twinsfest 2009 is now in the history books. It was great to see so many Justin Morneau fans at the merchandise table and around the Metrodome.

Twinsfest 2009 was a complete blast! Twins fans are the greatest and Morneau is fortunate to have a wonderfully well-rounded group of followers! I was able to meet many fans as we took photos with the 1-dimensional “JMo”. Lots of very young admirers and many parents and grandparents who wanted to snap a photo to show their families. We had a few people stop by who were from the newly crowned, Mrs. Morneau’s hometown; they we’re pretty proud to consider themselves part of the “Morneau Family”. Lots of ladies…to be expected and I must say Justin has an even more radiant glow since his recent nuptials. Yes, thousands of hearts were broken on January 10th when JMo went off the market (officially) but I don’t think I’m the only one to say, “Kudos, Justin! Krista is a sweet, down-to-earth, Minnesota-Girl…you done good”.
I love the spirit of Twinsfest! It gets the fans and enthusiasts pumped up for the upcoming season and the new stadium and it also creates an aura of nostalgia as people talk about how excited they were to get the Metrodome and how much they’ll miss it and some of you WILL INDEED MISS IT when you’re sitting in a puddle during a rain delay or when you have to carry a duffle bag of multi-seasonal wear since it might snow or hail during your game.
Now is the time to invest in the cool grey hoodie and a beanie from JustinMorneau.com so you can layer up accordingly. We’re here for you Morneau fans! We’re fans like you after all. Thank you for all of the wonderful support of the JustinMorneau.com site. It’s a blast to have a place Morneau fans can come together and share in our excitement to have a home-town relationship with this Canadian super-athlete. It’s so fun when JMo sees “his” logo on a shirt or hat in the crowd-he almost always acknowledges it.
