Justin Morneau and the whole Twins team (and all of MLB) wore #42 jerseys yesterday in commemoration of Jackie Robinson’s breaking of the color barrier in baseball.

Rumors (or rumours) have surfaced about the possibility of the Twins wearing new uniforms when they open Target Field in 2010. The folks at Alright Hamilton! have mocked up some possible options for new (and retro) Twins jerseys that include a Target sell-out model and our favorite: The Twinner!

Back in November we met Gage Westlund, who dressed up as Justin Morneau for Halloween.
In February, a horrible fire destroyed the Westlund home. Among the items that burned in the fire was a Justin Morneau autographed photo. The Westlunds contacted Morneau to ask if he could replace the photo.
